Searching for an occasion to wear that patterned snapback you bought at the SoWa market and sip Naragansett tallboys? You missed it. Sorry. Tuesday night at The Sinclair in Harvard Sq the house and assorted friends went to see Jungle play (and a band called Beat Connection open).
It was awesome. I was exhausted and sober and had a ton of fun in spite of myself. The $15 ticket paired with the 15 minute door to door travel time also didn’t suck. There was room to stand and move around and dance and I didn’t get nudged or pushed or bumped like that time I tried to go to Macklemore at House of Blues (you know it sucked). Please add this to the list of reasons to stay in a college town when the students leave for the summer. If you like fun, hate people, own birkenstocks, and can’t afford to use the word summer as a verb (i.e. “We summer on Nantucket”), you could definitely do worse than Somer(camp)ville.
