Bike Beyond Lead Coordinator - Beyond Type 1
Bike Beyond is an epic, 10-week adventure taken on by a team of 20 cyclists living with Type 1 diabetes. pedaling from New York City to San Francisco. The international team is pedaling from New York to San Francisco Summer 2017! I've had the immense privilege to serve as Lead Coordinator on the Beyond Type 1 side of this ride - working on everything from team selection to overseeing logistics to making sure we're sharing the journey with the world!
Website Redesign for the Institute for Pediatric Innovation
The Institute for Pediatric Innovation's website required a full overhaul. I used evidence-based research methods in order to ensure that the new site best serves the organization's community. An environmental scan of comparable sites, interviews with site users, and a review of best practices informed the all-new pediatricinnovation.org. The full report is available here.
Plated Pairings is a campaign designed to improve the dietary habits of 20-something young professionals. Determined not to develop a bland public health campaign, my strategy was to present the idea of purchasing vegetables and cooking them yourself in a novel way. In order to do so I created the branded campaign “Plated Pairings” which curates delicious vegetable dishes and beverage pairings. I also developed a campaign plan detailing the market research, strategy, tactics and channels Plated Pairings would utilize.

I created this one-pager for the Everett Community Health Program's Urban Agriculture Expansion Project when they were in the early stages of raising awareness and recruiting interest to their cause. This was handed out at public forums with community groups and city councilmen to help attendees understand what urban agriculture is and what benefits it could have to their community.
